Play as a robot and fight spiky and spidery things of varying degrees of scuffed.

There is actual content... mostly.

About the game:

I should start by setting expectations as low as possible. You could probably hardly call this a game but it does have game-play, a start, and an end. So it definitely could be considered one. And there are a few levels and enemy types, mechanics and even a boss fight.

However, everything is very scuffed. There are basically no animations, with one exception, but if you look closely you might notice the backgrounds change every once in a while. So there's that. I ended up leaning into the scuffed aesthetic.

I made this game some time in early 2023 (I think). It was an attempt at learning how to make a platformer. It has a lot of issues and had a strange, rushed ending. It never ended up serving any of the purposes I wanted it to, except for one. That one purpose being that I learned how to use godot, did I mention that this was one of my first godot projects, maybe the first (I really don't remember). It served enough of a purpose because I did in fact learn a lot about godot while making it. I wanted to follow bunch of tutorials but refused to use any asset that I didn't make myself so thus a bunch of scuffed pixelart was made. I probably spent way too long on it and I bet you really can't tell.

Why am I uploading it now in it's broken state?                                                                                                                                                                                               Well, when I finished it I made an export with intentions to upload it for the sake of it. I never ended up doing it and it has been in the back of my mind every once in a while since. I tried opening the files to play the game in godot 3.5 but for some reason it stopped working half way through. That codebase is forighn to me at this point and it's not really worth fixing. However, this export may work, so the game is still playable. When it was created all that time ago, the game was playable all the way through.

Its quite a short game. So give it a shot if you are in the mood for something... a bit... different.

This game has (not really) controller support. (sorry controller bros)

There is a tutorial in game but here are the controls anyway as some may not be listed:

Left: 'Left Arrow' 'D-pad Left' 'A-Key'

Right: 'Right Arrow' 'D-pad Right' 'D-Key'

Up/Jump: 'Up Arrow' 'D-pad Up' 'W-Key'

Down: 'Down Arrow' 'D-pad Down' 'S-Key'

Attack: 'Z-Key' 'J-Key' 'V-Key' 'Control' (don't recommend 'control' as it may cause the page to close if you press it with other keys)

Shoot: 'X-Key' 'K-Key' 'Space'

Dash: 'Shift' (unlocked later)

Pause: 'P-Key' 'Escape' ' Xbox B'

Cancel: 'Escape' 'Xbox B'

Accept: 'Enter' 'Space'

Select: 'Space' 'Xbox Y' (Just navigate the menus with the mouse)

Enjoy the uhh... experience.
